From the cluttered desk that we call home here at the Lower Class Revolt HQ! A big thank you to the bands who graced the stage at our August 27th Lower Class Revolt night at the Knockout in San Francisco—Leopold and His Fiction, Los Angeles based The Happy Hollows and Thousandnames. We’ll be posting pictures and video of the performances in the coming days.

On September 10th we’ve got a massive show at the Café Du Nord. All Smiles featuring Grandaddy guitarist Jim Fairchild will be coming into town from Portland to debut new songs from his impending release (due out in 2009). ALSO to sweeten the deal it’s the CD release party for The Aimless Never Miss who are making their debut on our label, Devil in the Woods. And if that’s not enough to pique your interest, we’ve to Harbours opening up the show. Hope to see you there.
After some start/stops we’ve finally got our e-store up and running. We’ll be offering The Aimless Never Miss’ CD for sale a full two weeks before it’s released nationally and we’ve even got some t-shirts for sale! So check it out and feel free to partake in some e-commerce.
September 24th is the release date for The Lower Class Revolt Volume#2. We’ll be celebrating the fact with a show at the Knockout in San Francisco on the same night featuring Form and Fate, Evacuee and Shiloe. The compilation is a FREE digital release and we’ll have a number of FREE physical copies at the show.

Hello from The Lower Class Revolt HQ! We have just a couple of quick reminders and some great news to pass along. First the news—our record label Devil in the Woods is pleased to announce the signing of The Sleepover Disaster. They blew us away at our Lower Class Revolt night at the Knockout and they gave us a CD of their new recordings that blew us away further. We just couldn’t deny ourselves the opportunity to become involved with this band. We’ve got them slated for a late January release and of course we’ll keep you posted on every step of the way. You can read more on the Devil in the Woods records site.

The Lower Class Revolt Volume #2 is set for a FREE digital download release on September 24th in conjunction with our LCR night at the Knockout in San Francisco. To help celebrate the release we’re having Form & Fate, Evacuee and Los Angeles’ Shiloe play the show. It’s going to be a good one!
Here’s the line-up for the comp: Citay , Rykarda Parasol (featuring Josh Gibson), All Smiles, Shuteye Unison,Carcrashlander, Evacuee,Harbours,Kelly Blair Bauman,Kid Mud, and Form and Fate.
Don’t forget about The Aimless Never Miss’ release show at the Café Du Nord on September 10th. It’ll also be a great opportunity to see All Smiles who are coming down from Portland and San Francisco’s Harbours.
We hope all is well with you!

Hello once again! We hope that the members of The Lower Class Revolt relish these dog days of Summer! Soon we’ll be back from the abyss. Or not. Either way we’re end capping the sunny season with two great shows.

First, on August 27 at The Knockout in San Francisco we’ll be hosting the talents of Leopold and His Fiction, L.A.s’ The Happy Hollows and from the East Bay will be Thousandnames—another well rounded rock experience! Following that blockbuster line up will be our first night at the Café Du Nord in San Francisco on September 10. We’ll be hosting All Smiles—who is Jim Fairchild of Grandaddy fame. Jim’s an amazing guitarist and songwriter-the album he just finished in Omaha is mesmerizing. And speaking of amazing, this show will serve as the record release party for The Aimless Never Miss. Rumor has it that every member who has ever played in the band will be there. Devil in the Woods#112 is the number on The Aimless record. Harbours, who consistently blow us away, will open the show. Our good friends over at Bandloop.com will be co-hosting the event with us.
Volume Two of our compilation series will be sequenced and mastered by time next week. It’s a nice September mix of music. The release show will be on September 24th. Details will be following soon.
We have a lot going on right now, hope to see you at one of our events.. Come up, say hello, shoot the shit, and watch some great bands.
