Hello to the friends of The Lower Class Revolt!
We’re gearing up for our next show here in San Francisco at the Retox Lounge featuring the Spinto Band, The Aimless Never Miss and Silian Rail! The Spinto Band will be here playing a concert for YouTube at Fort Mason the following day in what has to be one of the craziest line ups with the likes of Will.I.Am and Joe Satriani and this will be a warm up gig of sorts for the band. It’s only $5 bucks to get in we’re starting this thing at 9pm. We’d suggest an early arrival!
There are a lot of new social networking icons on our main page. Remember to make us part of your Twitter network!
Some dates to remember:
Thursday January 22nd 2009: The Lower Class Revolt and West Coast Performer Magazine presents: Built For The Sea, The Aimless Never Miss, and Silian Rail at the Café Du Nord in San Francisco. Tickets are on sale now for just $10 and available via Ticketweb!
Wednesday January 28th 2009: It’ll be the San Francisco release party for The Sleepover Disaster’s new release “Hover” coming out on Devil in the Woods. AND it’s also the release party for Volume#3 of the Lower Class Revolt compilation series. This all goes down at the Knockout.
The Lower Class Revolt is super happy to announce that beginning on Friday February 13th, 2009 we will be launching a new monthly series at The Retox Lounge! The LCR will be making a stand there every second Friday for the remainder of time so get ready for lots of great shows coming from that stage. Our debut show will feature Raised by Robots, Evacuee and Buildings Breeding.
And speaking of Buildings Breeding, Devil in the Woods Records is ecstatic to announce that they have signed the band. This Sacramento band has been winning over the critics and public alike with their intelligent and dreamy west coast pop sound. There will be lots of news in the coming months both here and on the Devil in the Woods site. Until then, you can check the band out here: www.myspace.com/buildingsbreeding
Thanks for the continued support and we’ll see you out in the crowd soon!
