Hello to the members of the Lower Class Revolt!
First and foremost: Mark you calendars for April 29th at the Knockout—it’s a night of sheer indie brilliance: Agent Ribbons, Buildings Breeding, Grand Lake. ‘Nuff said.

Thanks to everybody who came out and made our El Rio show a booming success! The throngs in attendance enjoyed an amazing afternoon in the sun highlighted by the brilliance of The Aimless Never Miss, Silian Rail, The Sleepover Disaster and Fay Wrays and of course the tasty BBQ!

We are supremely pleased to announce that we’ll be hosting premiere West Coast hardcore band PULLOUT on May 27th at the Knockout. The band will be playing in support of their new release “Eagles and Vultures” which is coming out May 2nd. Main support will be San Francisco’s Gutwrench! What else can be said about this amazing S.F. four piece?!? We’re going to add two more bands to the bill and still keep the door charge $5. More details as the show gets closer.
Volume #4 our compilation is STILL coming together—I was out of town for a bit and I have to be honest, things have just fallen behind. Life is funny like that. Here’s the line-up all the same: The Karabal Nightlife, Vox Jaguars, Fat Skeleton, Agent Ribbons, Bears! Bears! Bears!, Raised by Robots, Finest Dearest, Den and Grand Lake! I think we’re looking a month easy on this one, so hang in there kids, I am.
A huge thanks goes out to Zoe MF Trouble for all of her design or organizational work. And to Katherine Hoffert for filling the gaps!
As with anything, situations change—it’s a people, places and things sorta deal. Quite frankly I’ve been in a period of re-evaluation, coming clean about my demons, my resentments, my loves, my hates and where my life is pointed. At this juncture, I’m half way through that life, if the law of averages are correct and the simple fact is, I’ve been doing this for more than two thirds of that life. Where does the time go? So the last couple months have admittedly been a fucking mess. I’ve lost more than I’ve gained, lost a dear love of my life and somehow stranded myself on an island of the perpetual re-think. All things must pass. My direction will find itself and hopefully as our shows continue the direction will reveal itself further. Thanks for those who’ve been hanging with me and for those who haven’t, I understand why.
Say hello when you get the chance,
